Help bring Brad back to Scotland

On February 10, 2018, my Dad, Stephen Bradley (Brad) was rushed to Khema Polyclinic in Phnom Penh. He was severely dehydrated with meningitis and confusion. The infection had gotten so bad it affected his whole body. The doctors told us he would have died had his friend, Roger hadn't got him to the hospital when he did. The doctors have managed to treat his physical symptoms with IV antibiotics and fluids and though he is still frail, he can walk with assistance now and is slowly gaining weight.

However, the infection and meningitis had been untreated for so long that it caused severe encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain itself.

As a result, he remains confused and unaware of his own situation. He can talk, but he is not coherent. 

The cost of the medical treatement in Cambodia is high and rising every day.  The longer he stays there, the more unaffordable it becomes.

Our goal right now it to get him home to Scotland as soon as possible for his recovery. 

The hospital have agreed to transport him home and allow us to pay the hospital bills later. However, the cost of travel is $11,000 since he will require a nurse to travel with him and medical care on the way. 

Since Dad is confused, he is unable to help us access any funds he may have to cover this. We are also unable to travel to see him right now since my brother, Sam is working to cover Dad's bills in Scotland and I am pregnant and unable to travel. 

If you know Dad, you know he has always helped out anyone in need and takes care of all of those around him. He is a very proud man, but he needs a lot of help now.
