Burrito Project LA is an all-volunteer-run charity providing vegan burritos, water and other important resources to the unhoused and low-income community in Los Angeles. Twice a month, our volunteers get together at Chrysanthe and Dustin’s apartment to make the food and sort donations, after which we go to different spots near Vermont-Beverly, Westlake and Echo Park to distribute.
We’re proud of our work over the past 3 years, especially in a city like Los Angeles that continues to face a severe homelessness crisis. We are only able to do this important work thanks to our generous donors, which is why we’ve created this fundraiser.
We currently spend a little under $150 to purchase the ingredients needed to make 150 burritos per event, which comes out to $300 per month. The goal of this fundraiser is to fund the next 5 months of events!
