Hauge Hurricane Relief

As you know on October 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael slammed ashore on the Florida Panhandle at Mexico Beach, Saint Joe Beach and Port Saint Joe. In a matter of hours life there for thousands of people changed drastically. 
     Among those affected were Bob and Ruth Hauge and their son Douglas of Saint Joe Beach, Florida. Fortunately they were out of harm’s way, with their daughter Andrea, having sought refuge with Family friends in Biloxi, Mississippi. We thank God for this.
     At this point, they are relocated with family near Orlando, Florida. They are extremely devastated with their home of 34 years having been destroyed. They only have the clothes they took with them when evacuating.
     Water and power have been restored to the area. The house having been built of brick survived structurally, but now needs to be gutted and rebuilt inside from the floor up.
     The insurance company they have been with for 50 years has depreciated everything they own. EVERYTHING! They managed to save pictures on walls above the 4 foot flood line, some furniture, silver and china. Nothing else is salvageable. No daily dinner plates, no appliances, no cupboards, food, towels, clothes, flooring, dressers, beds, lamps, phones, TV. The list is too long to name everything.
     They have also lost their cherished Model T’s, owning and operating them for 70 years, and all tools, electrical tools, tractor and everything in the detached shop building was under 6 feet of water and were not covered. 
     This GoFundMe request is a plea for help in getting them back to their home, trying to make a part of their life whole again and assist them as they try to recover from this disaster. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Hauge Family
