Help Bill Golder & Family Beat ALL

Donation protected
Today my brother Billy is receiving a donor bone marrow (stem cell) transplant in Ottawa. On February 12, 2018 he went to emerge thinking he had the flu. Turns out he has Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. With a white blood cell count of 180 (normal being between 4-11) he was quickly diagnosed and rushed to Victoria Hospital in London. He spent a difficult month there unable to have visits from his 5 children while undergoing heavy chemo.

Thankfully it was successful in putting him in remission so he could receive the needed stem cell transplant. Only a few hospitals in Ontario perform donor transplants and Ottawa was chosen because it had the shortest wait time.

It's been extremely difficult for Billy and his wife Nicole (who is in Ottawa with him) being away from the 5 kids (ages 2 to 16). Billy has to stay in Ottawa a minimum of 2 months and will be off work for approximately 2 years for his recovery.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and used to help offset lost wages. Unexpected and uncovered costs are adding up, and any help would remove one worry off their shoulders so he can focus on getting better.

Billy is a hardworking family man who takes pride in caring for, and spending time with his wife and 5 kids. He deserves more time with them. Thank you.
