Hit by a car - Help the Proudman's heal

Chris (Gozer) and Haley just had a beautiful baby boy and Barry (Chris's dad) and Maureen(Chris's mom) finally made the treck out to hawaii to visit the islands and meet their first grandchild. They arrived the afternoon of 3/28/19 and immediately fell in love with the island and their grandbaby. On the evening of 3/31/19 (2 days after arriving) they took an innocent walk as a family and as they approached home, a car jumped the curb and plowed into Barry punting him into the next yard over. Chris and Maureen were the first responders for Barry and had to witness their loved one in an unimaginable state. He was then taken to the hospital and has been in the ICU since. He's been intubated, with chest tubes, in a medically induced coma and had surgery performed. Yesterday things started to look up for Barry's situation and the intubation was removed, he has been able to breath on his own for the past 24 hours. And his loved ones can finally start to breath again as well. 
There is no "plan" in place right now, we are just taking each day as it comes. 
The car insurance of the car that hit him had bare minimum coverage and won't even dent the medical bills that are being incurred right now. 
This situation has been truly unbelievable! This could not have happened to a sweeter, kinder, loving, or more generous man. The moment he got to the island he expressed love and appreciation for the opportunity he was given to come and visit. 
The added stress from medical bills, rehab, having to stay in Hawaii for MUCH longer than anticipated and his family not being able to work during this sensitive time are causing this situation to be harder than it already is. Please please please if your able to help in any way, the smallest amount makes a difference, this man is more than deserving.
