Help Barney Get His Operation

This is Barney, a 3 year old standardbred gelding who came off the track to me 2 weeks ago; he is the biggest bundle of joy and brightens my day. My goal was to bring him along in dressage and eventing just as I have with my other two as I love promoting this breed. Unfortunately a few days in to owning this lovely boy, his leg became inflamed. I gave it a week and decided that it was time for vet care to see what was going on. After flexion tests, trot ups and lunging it was decided that xrays would be best to determine what the outcome was. To my surprise, the xrays revealed bone chippings off the fetlock and as a result he needs to have surgery. He has a very high chance of 100% recovery and soundness to return to undersaddle work but needs to have it sooner than later. It would be muchly appreciated if you could just spare a few dollars to give him his second chance.

Every dollar will go towards surgery and vet care.
