Help Barn Park Residents caught in Gas Explosion
£2,634 of £1,000 goal
At least 3 local residents will have lost almost everything in the incident at Barn Park.
This wont replace everything, and isn't trying to, but if we, as a community, can offer a little help to make it easier for them to get back on their feet, then we should do our bit.
Anything you donate will be split between those directly affected to help them replace possession and rebuild their lives.
In just a few days, and thanks to your generosity, we raised nearly £3000 (Over £2600 here and a further £270 donated directly to the Town Hall) to help those people who have been impacted by the devastating explosion in Barn Park on 23rd March.
We have already helped some of those affected, and will continue to work with them to ensure they receive what help and support we can provide.
The funds are already making a real difference and we can act quickly to address individuals needs.
Please contact Andy Stokes, Pam Barrett or me if you've been impacted and need some help.
And you can still donate online, or at the town hall, to make a difference to people in your community.
We have agreed with the staff at the Town Hall, that if you know of anyone who would like to donate but is unwilling or unable to do so online, they will take any donations. The Town Hall is open from 9am until 1pm weekdays. Your name and amounts will be recorded so you can be sure it reaches the fund.
