Help Barb Beat Cancer! #TeamBarb

This GoFundMe page has been set up by Barb Kauflin’s colleagues at Plaza Motors and Asbury Automotive Group. As a biller at Plaza Mercedes-Benz for 15 years, Barb was always the first one to step up and collect donations for colleagues who lost loved one or were going through tough times. Now, it’s time for us to give back and help Barb and her family in their time of need.

Earlier this year, Barb was diagnosed with brain cancer and had to leave to work as she started her chemotherapy treatments. Until recently, her husband, Marc Kauflin, also worked at Plaza Motors—having been a technician and porter with us for 31 years. Marc had to take a leave from the company to help Barb recover at home as she continues her treatments.

Barb’s friends at Plaza have already stepped forward to help her with her medical bills in a big way. They recently held a BBQ fundraiser complete with raffles and a dunking booth featuring Market Director Todd Flowers. Barb and her family have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. Her teammates’ compassion is awe-inspiring, and we hope to continue this spirit of giving and caring through this GoFundMe page.

Barb is also a melanoma survivor, so we know she’s a fighter. Let’s show Barb, her husband, their three children and grandchildren that we are here to support them and that we are all #TeamBarb!
