Help us stay home with Vincent

Donation protected

Darlene and Shane met many moons ago with their bond being one of a kind. They married 5 years ago and ever since I can remember they wanted kids. Their journey to parenthood was challenging from day one. Trying to conceive was a difficult road, which involved many years of trying, doctor visits and intervention. They had many let downs, tears and they came close to giving up hope. One day after a very painful procedure for Darlene, she almost gave into the idea she was destine to “not be a mommy”. God was not having any of that and decided to intervein; to both of their surprise they were expecting! Through every bump in the road Shane has been right by her side.  Family was on the side lines and everyone burst into tears once they found out the great news about their miracle baby.

The pregnancy was rough on Darlene and she was always concerned of the “what if's”. As weeks went by, hope filled her heart as her belly filled with love from the bumps of little feet, she slowly started to grow calm. On August 22, 2018, Darlene went to work like any other day, unknowing that day would change both of their lives forever. At only 25 weeks, at 2:33pm Vincent Phillipe Biltz was born micro premature only weighing 1.8 oz and measuring 12 inches long. Vincent had to be transferred via ambulance service from their home town Naples, Fl. to Miami, Fl. to get the best chance with his fight at life. He will remain in Miami while he gets treatment until he is considered full term which can be close to 10-15 weeks.

This has been extremely challenging on both parents as this is an out of town hospital and the medical and travel cost are starting to pile in. We are praying for Vincent and we know God has big plans with him as he truly is a miracle. He has a long road of treatment and care in NICU at South Miami Hospital and we are truly grateful for all the support and prayers thus far. We, as a family, are asking for donations for Darlene and Shane to help alleviate some of the expected Medical/Travel cost to allow them to truly focus on Vincent during this difficult time. No amount is too small or large and we truly appreciate all your help. Please continue to pray for Darlene, Shane and baby Vincent. Thank you again, God bless.

P.S. I have also included their registry link in case anyone is interested in gifting them instead or in addition to a donation.
