Help Baby River

Hi, My name is River. I was born March 12th at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wi. This is where I've been since the day I was born. I've mostly been staying in the NICU but I also had to go to the Cardiac ICU for a while due to my heart not being fully developed and I needed someone watching over me 24/7. Other than my heart not being fully developed, I have a few other "issues" as well. The most obvious one you can see by looking at me. I have what the doctors call "a giant omphalocele". Simply, it's a large sack sticking out of my belly. I also have a hiatal hernia which is where part of my stomach is pushing it's way up in to my chest. On top of all of this, I also have an intralobar pulmonary sequestration of my left lower lobe. The doctors here at Children's hospital have said they're used to seeing rare conditions but this is rare even for them. So, they're going to operate on me April 23rd. We're all hoping that my heart is strong enough for the surgery. They said it will be a very high risk operation but they will have their most senior surgeon perform the operation. 

Now, I'll tell you a little more about me and my family. Mommy and daddy live almost 100 miles away in Two Rivers. They have taken off work and have been here with me since day one. They got me a mobile that hangs over me and spins in circles, it keeps me entertained, especially during my first few weeks here when all I could do was lay here. Other things I like are cuddles with mama, bedtime stories and sleeping. While I'm awake, daddy plays music for me and they tell me stories about my family. I finally met my big brother last week, he's 4.  My biggest dislike is that daddy has to go back home next week so that he can go back to work. I won't see him as much except on weekends. As much as I wish he could stay here with me, I know he has financial responsibilities too. That's why I decided to come here and ask you for help.  If you could find it in your heart to make a donation, no matter how big or small, I would appreciate it more than you'll ever know.
