Help Baby Emma Fight

Bryan and Esther (my youngest sister, both based in the Philippines) like any new parents, were overjoyed when they learned they’re expecting their first baby boy back in 2016 but ultimately faced his untimely death when he died (5months in Esther’s womb) due to suddenly losing heartbeat.

Past the difficult grieving period, they were both overjoyed again when the news of them expecting their 2nd baby, now a girl with due date not until May 2019. However, due to pregnancies complications, Esther has to undergo emergency c-section and gave birth prematurely to baby Emma (who is only 26 weeks and weighing 0.5kg).

Now she is in the neonatal intensive care unit (nicu) in the Philippines under the close watch of her doctors and will need an extended (at least 4months) stay in the nicu to help her live.  Her basic daily costs in the nicu is about Php100K (CAD3K) if no complications or procedures needed.

Esther and Bryan are opting to give baby Emma a chance to live in spite of their financial constraints but these hospital costs are really substantial and thus this GoFundMe page was raised.

Baby Emma is a real fighter and was crying and kicking hard when she was born and also in the nicu video above. 

Please help give this little fighter a chance to live her life out of the nicu.
