Our friend is affected by Eisenmenger Syndrome due to an uncorrected PDA.
The Clinical conditions are now very Severe and the medical treatment being administered at the moment is the only palliative and has the goal to prevent and treat the numerous complications. i.e: hemorrhage, increased risk of thromboembolic events, angina, low systemic blood pressure and very low systemic blood oxygen Saturation.
The only possible treatment for her is being Considered for a Lung transplant or a combined Lung and Heart Transplant.
