Help Anthony Replace His Car

I realize the picture doesn't look bad at all, however my axle was severely bent & the insurance company wrote off the car for $900.

I was coming home from school when I got T-boned by some girl in a Mazda 3.  

I used my car everyday.  Either to get to work or school, and to drop my sister off at school as well.   For a while I got co-workers to give me rides, however my job told me it was becoming a problem & I was forced to quit. 
(I've been working odd temporary jobs since)

Usually I'd have some kind of emergency reserve of funds to use for this kind of thing, but I used my savings up in January to pay off my school debt, not thinking I'd need a couple grand to buy a decent used car for the next few years.

Basically I'm looking to buy a car around 3 grand, and use the rest of the money to register & insure it.

By replacing my old car, I'll be able to save a huge amount of time on transportation again, & possibly go back to my job OR have an easier time finding a new job in my field.

I'm not sure what to expect from this.  I've seen people raise money for their first car, or car for their sister etc., so I figured why not give it a shot.
