Help Andy through Heart Surgery

On the 25/7/17 Andy returned home from work as a carpenter feeling a little unwell like he had the flu. Within 48 hrs he was rushed to hospital with a rare infectious disease that was life threatening.  Having been in hopsital for the last 6 weeks, Andy has fought to save his eye sight and fingers. He is lucky enough that the disease was caught early enough that it did not affect his brain and spleen, where the disease was also identified as reaching. 

The one area that the disease did reach was Andy's heart and he has endocarditis, an infection of the heart valve. This means that Andy now needs to have heart surgery to replace this heart valves as soon as he completes his run of antibotics at the end of September. Andy will need 12 weeks recovery after his surgery. 

Andy is self employed and will not be able to work for a period of time and the medical bills are mounting. Andy's wife Sam and his two children 3yrs and 1yr are in Coffs Harbour, whilst he is in hopsital in Sydney and are travelling down to see him as much as they can. 

Andy is the guy that would give you the shirt off his back to lend a hand. Please if you could help this family in a time of need, it would be much appreciated.

My name is Sarah and Andy and I have been friends since High School, growing up and now living in Coffs Harbour together.

These funds will be spent on helping the family with medical bills that have occurred and with their home loan as Andy is self employed. All funds will be transferred to their account when they return from hopsital.
