Help an ex-Jehovah's Witness

Donation protected
Your generous donations will be used to publish a personal memoir about being raised in the Jehovah's Witness religion in Duluth, Mn and leaving when I was 25 years old. It's a decision I do not regret, but did not anticipate how difficult it would be losing your "network" and support indefinitely. Ever since I have had to take care of myself, by myself. I now have wonderful, caring, and humble friends and are available for mental and emotional support. Reaching my dreams has been a challenge but I managed to still join the Navy Reserves and receive an education at Arizona State University, which are big no's no's in the Witness faith. The message that I would love everyone to leave with after reading my book is to honor yourself and what you WANT, and to not waste your life living up to someone else's expectations or even society's expections of you. I hope to get my book published in the next three months, and your donations will help a geniunely good person who has hopes and dreams. Losing childhood friends and family over not choosing the same religion as them has left my heart broken. I'm hoping to test the theory that there are maybe strangers that feel differently and can prove them wrong. Thank you for taking the time to read this profile, hopefully soon you'll be reading my Memoir "Survival of the Smartest".  Hope everyone has a wonderful new year!!
