Help an 11 year old girl walk

Donation protected
This past summer a group of teenagers and adults went on a mission trip to Uganda in Africa. One day when our group was helping an elderly woman build a mud hut, we came across this little girl. She was crawling towards us and eventually came and sat in front of me and three other fellow people helping that day. We knew she was too old to be crawling and should be able to walk, but we soon learned from her family that she was eleven years old and that something was wrong with her legs, so she has never been able to walk. Along with all of this, she was dirty and her clothes were filthy and torn. My friend then decided she would give this little girl her shirt that she was wearing and wear the extra shirt my dad had brought. The blue shirt you see in the pictures is the shirt my friend gave her. The brown dress she is wearing in the picture is what she looked like and was wearing when we first saw her. A few days after our encounter with this girl, we bought some things from a local store to bring to her and her family that they might need such as, rice, posho, soap, sugar, etc. We also brought Zydia (that's the girl's name) some soda and snacks. Please notice the difference in how she looks from the picture of her in the brown dress to the pictures of her in the blue shirt. We want to get Zydia medical attention to fix her legs so that she may walk again. She has been to the doctor once already, and in that appointment the doctors examined her legs and got her a walker. She will need surgery to fix her legs. Please help us raise funds so that we can send this money to Africa so that she can have the surgery or surgeries she needs. God bless!
