HELP Aliza FIGHT Breast Cancer

Alisa Lugtu is a childhood friend of mine from the Philippines. We have known each other since I was seven years old. About 4 years ago, I was thrilled to find out that she was coming to Edmonton to join her husband, Aljon. 
Aliza arrived in February 2014. She is a very hard working person. Just like every Filipino who comes to Canada for a better life,  she sends most of her hard earned money to help out back home. After a few months of being in Canada, she got pregnant with her son Andrei. What a blessing! She has never thought at her age that she will be blessed with a child. Life was excellent and complete for the couple until that same year; she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Aliza fought hard for her family, especially for her newborn son. She underwent chemo, changed her diet and lifestyle. She survived all of this while she was taking care of her baby, her husband and still supporting her family back home. She got well after 2 years until last month June 2018, another occurrence happened. This time it spread in her lungs and liver. At this point, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. 


She is undergoing aggressive medical treatment. She cannot go to work anymore. Her husband had 2 jobs and been working 16 hours a day so they can pay their rent, food, and utilities. There are times that he cannot go to work because Aliza is too sick and they still have to take care of their son. She is worried that they cannot pay rent and other utilities because Aljon has to miss work because of her. She is very worried about her son as nobody can look after him when can barely look after her self. 


I am hoping that you could help me raise funds for Aliza. The money will be spent to help them get by for the next 8 months. She will need help to take care of herself, her son and to help out with the monthly expenses. Their monthly expenses are $1,800 a month. Some of her friends are donating money to bring her mother or brother here in Canada temporarily to take care of her. Any amount will be much appreciated.
