Help A Willing Kid Foundation

From uncovering the potential within each child to providing children with the tools to nurture their talents, the Help A Willing Kid foundation has been assisting underprivileged youth for nearly 15 years. By providing a variety of programs for kids in the greater Lansing area, the H.A.W.K. Foundation has tried to bridge a gap in society so these children can rise up.

The H.A.W.K. Foundation provides boxing lessons for the youth involved in order to help build discipline and self-respect. In addition to this, the kids receive meals, laundry services, and other various programs and resources through the organization as well.

Through H.A.W.K., the kids are provided with positive role models who work both directly in the organization and also through outside organizations. Brothers of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity at MSU work closely with the H.A.W.K. Foundation by cooking dinner twice a week and providing tutoring sessions twice a week for the kids.

The money raised for the H.A.W.K. Foundation will be used to support the programs at H.A.W.K. such as providing meals, laundry, and showers for the kids involved. Funds will also be going to school supplies, dinner supplies, toiletries, and necessities unique to individual children in the program. With your help, we can reach our goal of raising $1800 for H.A.W.K. and continue to positively impact and change the lives of the youth involved.
