This is my brother Mark. Mark has suffered all his life with Hirschsprung's disease, however we didn't know what the problem was until his early 30's when he had to have his colon removed due to severe impaction. Mark is only 54 and has suffered much of his life with problems arising out of this disease and the fact that he was not treated until late in life. He has had multiple surgeries removing his colon, parts of his intestine and now he has to have his rectum removed because the doctor who removed his colon did not clean out all the waste out of his rectum and it has now petrified and needs to be removed. Mark is on social security making approx. $900.00 a month and raising three daughters all on his own. His pain is constant. In order to have this surgery he had to change his insurance plan to accommadate the surgeon being out of network. He had picked the plan which best suites his need for his colostomy supplies. Please any help you can give would be greatly appreciated, he lives and supports his children with little help and I know that anything you can give would mean so much to him
