Help a King Get a New Throne

Hi All,
If you don't already know, the guys above are very special to me. Not only are they amazing young men and women, but they are such wonderful people with huge hearts and with much more strength than anyone can imagine. They are my family, and if you know me, then you know that my family is everything. The Kings Wheelchair Basketball Team is the only competitive team on Long Island that plays in our division of NWBA. We do many fundraisers and awareness events throughout the year to pay for our traveling expenses and equipment. Unfortunately, the wheelchairs have to be covered by the players themselves, as they too expensive to be put into our budget. As I'm sure that many of you do not know, a customized chair, basketball or everyday, cost anywhere between $3200-$6500, depending on all the bells and whistles, and insurances do not cover them. I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise money for new wheelchairs for a few of my players, three in particular. While at Nationals in Kentucky this past April, three of our players got fitted for new chairs, and we would appreciate any help that you can give us in reaching our goal to help them get their new set of wheels. Wheelchair basketball is not only a fun and healthy way for our players to stay active and strong, but it is also an outlet for them to socialize and spread awareness about wheelchair abilities. Please pass this along to any and everyone that would be willing to help, no amount is too small.
