Help a Disabled Vet Get the Funeral he Deserves

No one should have to worry about the cost of a funeral when grieving a loved one, and no veteran deserves to be laid to rest in a casket constructed of cardboard.
Wayne Charles Terry put his life on the line while he served in the Vietnam War. He was an infantryman, as well as a communications specialist, and mechanic. Even though he suffered from post traumatic stress disorder, Wayne was always proud of the 20+ years of service he dedicated to his country.
Naturally his wife of 45 years thought that with all of his years of service, the VA would help take care of the funeral arrangements, but unfortunately that is not the case. The VA does not cover his casket, cremation, or any other costs associated with Wayne’s final wishes.
Anything you can give would be helpful in our efforts to give Wayne the tribute he deserves. All funds raised will go directly to the spouse for funeral arrangements, as well as to help her keep afloat during the time required to receive spousal benefits.
