Help 4 Kittens

Hello everyone!

My name is Mia and I am living in Porto, Portugal. I do not know if you know this but in my country, as beautiful and amazing as it is, animals are not a priority to the State, so there are A LOT of abandoned, injured animals everywhere.

I am someone who loves animals in general, and I have been helping them as much as I can for many years. I receive 0 funds from the Government and as much as animal institutions want to help, they have work up to their sleeves, trying to help as many pets as they can!

So, to my current situation.
I have a cat and a dog (both rescue pets) and now I found 5 kitties, two months ago which were very sick and living in a cat colony next to my house. So, basically, they were just living on the street. One of the kittens, especially, was very very sick. His eye was very swollen. They all had the cat flu. 

I took them in, re-arranged my space and accommodated them in my bathroom (I live in a small apartment). I also took them to the vet - already several times (around 6 or 7) because of the disease and to check for other things, like fleas, ticks, deworming stuff...all the basic things that pets need. They also took several courses of antibiotic, as well as drops (also antibiotic) for the eyes, which I have to apply every day. I normally spend around 1 hour or more with them just to take care of everything and administer all the medicines they need (Cuddle time not included in the 1 hour he he).

Meanwhile, I have been trying to find owners for them. I have been able to find an owner for one of the kittens and she is living happily with her new family. The other four, however, are still with me. Unfortunately, people here in Portugal tend to dislike black cats and especially being sick, it is not easy to find owners for them. There is not a lot of people who would like to care for a sick kitten. Furthermore, there are many many abandoned kittens searching for a home and we are just before summer, so the amount of people searching for kittens is inferior to the amount of kittens that need a home. 

I have already paid a lot for the treatment of the kittens, and the most likely panorama is that I will still have to pay a lot. With vet bills (which are quite high in Portugal), medicines, food and other supplies (like a cat litter I had to buy), the amount is already high, and it will only sum up. I am at the end of my funds and I need help to help them.

Therefore, I ask you. If you like animals and if you think you can help me even with just a small donation, please be so kind to do so. We will be very grateful!

The money collected will be used for helping me paying the past, present and future bills of the kitties. 

If the money collected is more than enough to help these kittens (which I am not entirely sure about), it will be used for other animal causes. Believe me, animals seem to know that I am here to help, and many times I see myself helping them. I love them, though. So this is for a good cause.

Also, if you know anyone who would like to give these babies a forever home, please let me know!
