Help me be a teenage Climate Reality Leader

My name’s Sarah, I’m 15, I live in Rhode Island, and I am extremely passionate about stopping climate change by bringing communities and youth together to tell our governments to protect our future.


Climate Reality Leadership Training is a three-day educational seminar in Atlanta, Georgia, this March, with everything to know about the climate crisis and how to stop it. At the end of the training, you become a certified Climate Reality Leader, which means, especially for me as a girl and a minor, that you have more footing and a significant impact in progress.


The trouble is, I can’t afford the plane and hotel stay for me and my dad to go. I am so thankful for my dad being so supportive and willing to travel with me to Georgia and learn how we can both stop climate change. Now all we need is to actually get down there, and for that I ask for your help. 

This leadership training will be the most important thing I have done in my life, and I need your generosity to get me there.

I will use this training when I get back home to embolden others about the massive issue of climate change and be an active player on the road to recovering our Earth for future generations. I plan to give exponential climate presentations in my local auditorium, write and publish articles in local journals, start a youth coalition for climate action, among many other things, but to do all this, I need to get off the ground at the Atlanta training. Please consider helping me achieve my dream, fulfill my purpose, and most importantly, solve the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced.
