My wife's fight against cancer

Donation protected
Being one of the worst days ever, Today we found out my wife, Gayle "Suzy" Youngblood, has breast cancer. We are both devastated! They told her over the phone as she preferred, but once hearing the news she couldn't speak and handed the phone to me. I heard the nurse explaining invasive carcinoma as I listened to my wife's sobs as my heart broke. After a while of taking notes on what to do next and yada yada over nurse navigators etc. I was finally able to hold my wife. I felt so helpless. This wasn't a fall or a bruise or something I could just kiss her tears away. This is Cancer in her body. How am I to fix this? This question still goes unanswered. But I meant every word to get when I told her I will be by her side throughout. That together we will beat this! We went together to the doctor. I'm confident in this drs ability after listening to her talk with us for over an hour. She had all the answers to our questions. Explained the cancer in laymen terms. Even introduced us to her nurse navigator. The person who will keep up with her appointments with the so many doctors, and specialists for tests in the near future. And the go to person for more questions or concerns. The Dr explained her options, my wife chose the lumpectomy with 4 weeks chemo. Over the mastectomy, without Chemo. I personally didnt care if she chose the mastectomy, I don't care about if my wife has only one breast or two. Hec, I don't care if she was missing her arms and legs, I just don't want to lose my wife!! She is the very best thing that ever happened to me! She is the reason I keep going from one day to the next. I can honestly say had I not met her when I did I would be dead by now. She is the most positive person I have ever known and she has made me become more positive also and made me realize that life is not all doom and gloom. I was never one to believe in a soul mate until I met her and she is truly just that. So in a selfish kind of way, this account is also to help me, so I don't lose my love of my life! Now onto our problem. We are both on disability. The money we receive on this, just makes our regular bills, with so little left over. We have health insurance with United health care/welmed. We can and do see our primary doctor each month without of any out of pocket costs. Yet every doctor or specialist we see besides him, costs a co pay of $30,  which adds up, and additional medical expenses insurance won't cover, plus the gasoline to get there and back. This includes all follow ups, (which I feel are a rip off, but what are we to do? ) Suzy's operation is already scheduled for August 31st. (Hospital co pays are $100) She has many doctors, specialists, & tests she must see or get done before the surgery. Then after the surgery, again, more specialists, follow ups, and chemotherapy visits. One test we know of, is a genealogy test is not covered that is $250. We simply can not afford the co-pays, the gas, and any other out of pocket expenses. It's August 13th and we don't have any extra at all, after today's co-pay. If we can not pay, or have to postpone anything, This cancer can spread, and Suzy's chances of survival go down. Our goal here on go fund me, is not unreasonable, and hoping just enough to cover the expenses of the co-pays, a couple tests, and any other out of pocket expenses. I am humbly asking for any donation you can make, to help save the life of my loving wife! Please help in Saving her life, she is worth every penny to this world! With Sincerity and Appreciation, Alan Youngblood (Anyone wishing proof of above, please ask, I can send you a picture of the pathology report)
