Help Victims of the Helena Wildfire

Donation protected
Please make a donation – whatever you can afford – to help the victims of the Helena Wildfire in Trinity County. All donations will go to the Weaverville Lions Club Fire Fund.

The Helena Wildfire continues to spread. At least 72 homes have been destroyed by the wildfire, and 2,000 people have been evacuated.  They desperately need our help.

Trinity County is about 5 hours north of San Francisco. It's the beautiful, rugged, rural home to 13,000 people. If you've ever gone backpacking in the Trinity Alps or strolled through Weaverville's historic downtown, you know what an incredible community exists in this special corner of Northern California. Let's show our support for Trinity County by giving what we can to help victims of the Helena Wildfire.

Background:

On Wednesday, August 30, a massive fire began spreading through Trinity County. In just a few days, nearly 9,000 acres have burned, and the fire is only at 14% containment.

This is one of the many structures that was destroyed by the Helena Wildfire.

2,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, and dozens no longer have a home to return to.

Californians across the state benefit every day from Trinity County's water, timber, and natural beauty. Now is our chance to give back and take care of our northern neighbors in their time of need.

Please donate whatever you can – $50, $20, even just $5 – to help Trinity County survivors get back on their feet.
