Heather's Road to Health

As many of you may know, our dear friend Heather has been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Heather has been struggling with her health and digging for medical answers for about a year. Last Tuesday she had a colonoscopy and the doctor found a tumor in her large intestine and over 200 cancerous pollups. Heather is now scheduled for surgery to remove her colon on June 22nd. Due to the cancer being spread throughout the entire colon, the doctor wants the best of the best performing the surgery with him. In the mean time, Heather will going through more testing and also an endoscopy to make sure there are no pollups in her stomach or trachea. As you can imagine, Heather, her family and friends are devastated. Due to being sick, Heather is needing to cut back significantly on work in order to take care of herself. By doing so, she is also not bringing in the income she needs to support herself. With all the doctors visits, we know that this will cause a financial hardship for her. She has always been the kind of friend who is there anytime anyone has needed her. Now would be a great time to come forward and be there for her aswell. Even if you are unable to donate, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Heather is a fighter and has a will of iron. We have no doubt that she will give this cancer a run for its money!
