Hearts for Xander & Maverick Farago

Hello, we are the Farago's! We consist of Isaiah (dad), Elizabeth (mom), Xander age 7, Everett age 3, and Maverick age 3 months. We are an ordinary family with some extraordinary fighters.
Xander was born in July 2008 with a Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Only half of his heart had developed in utero, he had no left ventricle. He needed either multiple heart surgeries or a heart transplant. HLHS is a fatal condition, there is no cure. Xander would and will battle this his whole life. He received a heart transplant on September 29, 2008. Xander has since had multiple rejection episodes and has spent significant time in the hospital. He continues to fight his condition. He loves legos, trucks, and trains. He is a true joy.
In July 2012, we welcomed our heart healthy son, Everett. He is a ball of energy who loves his brothers with a fiery passion.
Christmas Day 2014, we learned we were expecting again! We were so excited! In April at our 20 week ultrasound they told us that our beautiful baby had the same heart defect Xander had been born with. That day was beyond painful and unexpected. We were previously told this condition was not genetic and it most likely would not occur again. Again, we chose to fight for our boys. Maverick was born at Childrens Hospital and received a heart transplant at 16 days old.
Summer 2016 Xander was admitted to the hospital for a severe pneumonia infection and the end result was right heart failure. He was relisted for transplant and received his 2nd heart transplant on August 6, 2016.
This fund is set up to help us with some of the colossal cost of medical and travel expenses that we have taken on and will continue to have.
We have beyond blessed by all who have donated previously and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity. This fund will help us continue to give our children the best life they can have by taking some of the financial burden away.
