Help Sean Achieve A Medical Miracle

Donation protected
Sean is a 32 year old entrepreneur and business consultant who is heavily engaged in his community. In 2012 he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor that was 90% removed via surgery. Doctors chose to monitor the tumor. In the past 12 months, the tumor has grown back substantially causing violent seizures, extreme fatigue, in addition to an already compromised immune system.

Sean is moving to California immediately to pursue alternative naturopathic treatment. Sean has stepped down as CEO of his company to focus on his failing health, in hopes to return to business as usual after the 3 or 4 month treatment. Lodging in California is the most prohibitive expense for a place where Sean can rest and recover. We have begun documenting this journey via film, and will compile from beginning to end the treatment, the struggles that ensue, and the outcomes as Sean looks to transition back into a healthy routine post treatment. Insurance does not cover naturopathic treatments.

Sean has mounting medical bills from the past 4 years as he has had minimal income as a result of the brain cancer. He has put everything into his beloved and well known start up; EcoBridge Industries. Doctors here are pushing him to pursue another surgery, or, a form of radiation that could be detrimental to the area of the brain where the tumor is located; the right motor cortex, which controls motor and muscular function to the left side of the body. Multiple surgeries on the brain are risky, as a full recovery would take up to 12 months, pending any infections, or further complications under a compromised immune system, leaving him further in debt and removed from his business. Radiation is not a guaranteed solution, as it has a 1 in 3 chance of being successful, and will only stop the tumor from growing, not eradicate it fully, leaving still, the potential need for another surgery after radiation. Who wants to have their brain cooked? There is no known chemotherapy that can treat this tumor; a hemangiopericytoma. The tumor cannot be fully removed via surgery because it is attached to, and fed by the main blood vessel center brain.

Prior to his surgery in 2012, Sean weighed over 400 pounds, which he overcame with a strict plant based diet and exercise. Both contributed to his being strong enough to withstand the surgery, and further, recover through intense physical therapy and diet. Sean is no stranger to adversity, and through his strong will, and transitioning to a natural lifestyle using these treatments, he can with your help, overcome the cancer that continues to plague him daily. If you know Sean, you know he is a fighter and will not back down from this challenge.
