Healing for Jerry (Matt) Lamb

Hello, my name is Lee. My husband Jerry was diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer with metastasis in January 2016. We immediately started conventional chemotherapy and hormone therapy, and saw results. Last August, his PSA level had dropped significantly, some of his tumors shrank and a few even disappeared. However, scans done this past January revealed his tumors were once again growing and spreading, and continuing with conventional cancer treatments isn’t offering Jerry much hope for the future.
The five-year survival rate for Stage IV prostate cancer patients undergoing conventional treatments is a dismal 28 percent. We refuse to accept this—or to give up. Our diligent research over the past year has helped us discover a number of promising treatments for advanced stage cancers. Recently, Jerry visited world-renowned medical oncologist Dr. James Forsythe at his Century Wellness Clinic—a licensed, integrative oncology clinic located in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Forsythe offers a low-dose chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment program that, through genomic and chemo-sensitivity blood testing, is targeted to each individual patient’s cancer. CWC almost exclusively treats advanced stage cancer patients, and the results are very promising: Dr. Forsythe has experienced an 82 percent remission rate among his Stage IV patients, including those with prostate cancer, in a study over the last seven years.
Jerry has worked steadily through his cancer battle, continuing to provide for our family and staying dedicated to his career, even on his worst days. Insurance has helped with many of his treatments along the way. Sadly, the ground-breaking treatment at CWC is not covered by almost all insurance companies. Those of you who know Jerry can attest to his private nature and, more importantly, his generous soul. He would always, always rather give than receive; asking for help just isn’t in his genetic makeup. However, after much reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to the humbling realization that Jerry cannot receive this game-changing—and we believe lifesaving—treatment without reaching out for help.
Stage IV cancer does not have to be a death sentence, and through your generous support and prayers, we’re determined to prove it. Our gratitude runs deep and eternal. Love to all.
