Born August 8th, 1936, Dr. Leslie Alexander Lacy, also known as
Dr. Cayenne, hails from Shreveport Louisiana as a notable healer, wellness practitioner, scholar and human/civil rights activist who has given his lifetime's work in service to the betterment of families and to the heightened awareness of the human body's ability to heal not only each individual self but the world at large.

Raised by his Mother Rebecca Lillie Davis Lacy and Father Nathaniel Lenard Lacy Sr., M.D. within a long line of doctors and having studied and taught at various universities around the world such as Howard, New York, Columbia, University of Ghana and Hawaii, Hilo, Dr. Cayenne, early on, chose an alternative, naturopathic course of study from the traditional one of his celebrated family, integrating Eastern philosophies from various Zen Buddhist Masters.

Having walked amongst the greats, authoring eight plus books, exchanging course studies, lectures, friendship, plans and ideas with the likes of Gil Scott Heron, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., W.E.B Du Bois, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Dick Gregory, the recently departed and celebrated Dr. Sebi, with whom he was very close friends, and many, many others, we are presently calling forth the necessary support to bring healing assistance to a man who has dedicated his life and legacy to the healing of others, most of whom were deeply impacted by him in various ways, changing theirs and our lives for the better. He has and continues to serve as a true guide, way shower and inspirational light.

Now we have been given the opportunity to celebrate the life and respected service of this humanitarian healer at the critical time of his life when he needs help the most. Through our support of his health and recovery we all will hold a stake in proving and making his dream a reality — that given the right, holistic methodologies for healing, those of us suffering from chronic ailments can reverse debilitating diseases, even the ones that were taught to be incurable by our Western medical industry.
