Healing for Jennifer Coughlan

Dear Tucson Tribe and Beyond! 
 As you may or may not know, our beloved friend, the beautiful and brave Jennifer Coughlan, has been walking life’s path with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. There is no cure for this type of cancer and treatment is life-long. She has been receiveing monthly injections for hormone suppressive therapy, getting routine blood work and bone scans every 3 months to monitor the disease. All the while working a full-time job, teaching aerial lessons, performing West African dance, supporting artists and friends, and living the fullest life possible. 

Unfortunately, a recent bone scan revealed new cancer growth to her hips, pelvis, sternum, and spine. The news is scary and devastating. She will need to start an advanced treatment regimen that comes with a host of potential side effects, in hopes of suppressing the cancer. She will be on that treatment until the cancer cells figure out another way to grow. And then it’ll be onto the next regemin.
