Healing Emily's Brain

Emily has been struggling with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that continues to make her day to day life worse. After years of being told there is no way to heal her, we have found a clinic in Atlanta that could potentially reverse some of the damage if not all that has been done to her brain. We have been turned down by neurologist after neurologist and even by the Mayo Clinic, but with this other clinic we just might be able to give Emily her life back.
After re-injuring her brain three months ago, we are embarking on the third year of medical bills with no improvements to show. Meanwhile, Emilys brain continues to worsen every day. Emily used to love to run, go on long drives, read books, and could multi task with the best of them. Now she cannot do any of those things. With slowed reaction time, poor concentration, missing memories and more, we wonder what's next. Emily has missed so much work and has had to cut back on almost everything she enjoys doing, just to manage her new symptoms.
We know God has given us this opportunity to go to the Amen Clinic for a reason. With the SPECT scan, and specific treatments tailored to each patient, we think this is the best opportunity we have for healing, outside of a miracle. But it comes at a price. We are hoping to get her to this clinic this year, but we cannot financially make that happen. The scan alone is 8k, and the followup treatment is still unknown. But a price tag can't be put on healing, not anymore.
After the initial 3 day stay in ATL for the scans, Emily would need at least 6 months of treatment, if not more. With the money we raise here, we could cover the medical bills, the travel expenses and give us a chance to rest in recovery instead of stress under financial pressure.
