Heal Blane of Cancer

I have an announcement.  As most of you probably already know, for over 3 years now I have been battling to heal a stage 4 cancerous tumor that has taken over my vocal chords.  After 3.5 years of a huge list of daily treatments,  I have to admit that the tumor has only grown.  In order to prevent the further spread of this disease I have finally submitted to my many doctors repeated requests that I do a massive surgery to remove my entire voice box and larynx.  I have been resisting this route but now I must acknowledge that this is the best chance to remove the cancer and for me to survive.  The operation is extreme in that it is 10 plus hours long, it will permanently remove key parts of my anatomy and alter my plumbing and that it has intense lasting repercussions on the remaining  quality of my life.  Besides removing the vocal chords and larynx , this operation separates into 2 distinct pathways ; my airway and my mouth to my stomach pathway.  After the operation, I will not be able to speak or whisper, smell, play harmonica or swim.  This is because I will from then on be permanently breathing through a hole in my neck.  There will no longer be any airflow from the lungs to the mouth and nose. The truth is that I’m really frightened.   I scared of the operation and I’m frightened if not being able to whisper.  I’m afraid of the isolation I will feel by losing the last fragment of my natural voice.  I fear the depression I may fall into.  However, there is a huge part of me that is so excited to get this dammed cancer out of me!   I’m so tired of having this dark cloud hanging over me.  I am exhausted after years of pain and struggling against it with every natural therapy I could find.  I want my body and my future..back! I lost 2 more friends this week to cancer.  They were both about my age.   So I do believe this is the best chance for me to regain my strength and have a long life with my family ( my son Kai is 5 years old).  I ask for your continued understanding, friendship and support.  Any donations really help my family and I to afford and navigate this intense time.  I also found out that I need to move.  So it’s a big time of change and healing for me and I feel I’m walking a bit of a tightrope.  I believe that I am here for a reason and have great work to do in this beautiful world.  I believe there is a way for me to come through this challenge a better and more complete person than I was before.
My goal in this next year is to become the clearest , cleanest and best person that I have ever been.  I want to have the support to continue to completely purify my body and mind.  I want to focus on health, joyfulness, creativity and family.  I want to focus on the future that I want to see in this world and work towards that daily.  By donating you are helping to save my life.  You are helping to make sure that I am here and can continue to raise my 5 year old son and continue to create art and share it with the world.  Thank you so much.
