My name is Nichole, and I am starting this go fund me page on behalf of my sister and nephew. On Februray 17, 2017 my nephew Jekory Howard was outside playing with his dog like any normal child on a beautiful day. When suddenly his dog got away from him and Jekory chased after him. What happend next was an unfortunate accident that no one could have forsee. Jekory was struck by the right front of an oncoming vehicle and thrown several feet. He was then life lined to Riley Childrens Hospital where he has been put into a medically induced coma while they look at the severity of his injuries. They have discovered at this point he has head trauma. He is in ICU at Riley with 24hr care but is on a 72hr watch for further possible truama to other areas of the body. This go fund me page will go towards financial assistance for my sister and her family. The donations will be applied towards medical expenses for Jekory, gas expenses traveling back and forth to Riley, lost wages for both parents while they are tending to Jekory's needs at the hospital, and any other expenses occured during this difficult time. The family appreciates all donations and prayers that can be made.
