Manhattan Youth Tritons Swim Team is excited to announce their annual Swim-A-Thon being held on Saturday, January 26th! This year a portion of the proceeds will go to support The Surfrider Foundation's efforts in cleaning our beaches. The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. With various initiatives such as R.A.P (Rise Above Plastics), Ocean Friendly Gardens, Beach Cleanups and Blue Water Task Force they are certainly doing their part to promote a cleaner environment.
Additionally, we will continue to support Puerto Rico's local community center, Asociacion Comunitaria as they still face challenges of Hurricane Maria's aftermath. With limited supplies and classroom space, Manhattan Youth has been a solid resource for the After-school and Summer Camp program. We look forward to continuing to provide aid and relief to this community.
