We, in Canada, may take for granted our rights and freedom of religion and religious practice. Many places in the world do not enjoy this privilege. Russia is one of them.
Debbie and I are working within our church to bring the Gospel to a country where religion has been almost completely eliminated. The word ‘struggling’ best describes the situation with regards to the church in Russia, at the present moment.
How fortunate we would be if we could plant a seed! This is exactly what Debbie and I are hoping to do by reaching out to those who are THEE most capable of making that seed grow. Children!
Our mission trip will take us to an area of the country where there is a need to preach and teach. Therefore, our mission work will take the format of Vacation Bible School. We can reach the hearts and minds of little ones who will be able to grow in the Lord and continue to spread the Word.
Through this mission, the church will be able to be a part of this country’s culture as it is a part of our own. One day, our Christian counterparts will be able to enjoy the privileges, rights and freedoms that we do.
