Cottonwood Inn Flood Recovery

Donation protected
On early Monday morning of August 28th, our parents woke up knee deep in water. Our parents frantically began to evacuate customers, while trash bagging 20 years of accumulated personal belongings and memories from the Cottonwood Inn in La Grange, TX.

Our family had moved to La Grange 20 years ago. My parents are the two most hard working, kindhearted, and giving people I know. They've sacrificed their entire lives for their entire family, and it breaks my heart to see them suffer so much.

Our motel sits 7 feet below surface level and behind us lies a creek, where the Colorado River flows into. While the rest of Fayette County received manadatory evacuation, unfortunately we did not. Without warning or notice, we were entirely vulnerable and helpless. Without flood insurance, loss we are facing in beyond imaginable, and I cannot put into words how much we need your help. If you could please take the time to read our story and donate, it is very much appreciate so. Our heart goes out to every single family affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The money donated will be used to restore and recover our business.
