HCF and Youth in Permaculture

Horton Community Farm is a LAND permaculture centre for food growing and community resilience. We have been selected as one of the UK Partners for the Youth in Permaculture project (along with the Permaulture Association UK).
We are fundraising for 1 young person and 1 member of the team to travel to Barcelona and join the initial team to learn about co-operative decision-making (sociocracy) to envision and co-create the Youth in Permaculture project.
The money will pay for the training, accomodation and food (if there is enough for travel too).
We are aiming to raise £800.
We need to raise this before the course 8th-12th April!
Olivia is a Peace Studies student in her final year, has been a volunteer at Horton Community Farm for more than a year and was our amazing student intern last summer. Along with Eddie another student she helped us to create our Phase 2 vision for the farm and we are keen to work together on how to involve young people in permaculture at the farm as well as more generally.
In order to show our gratitude we will offer the following to all donors:
£200 & over including foraging day and special urban foraged meal for 2 (including wild foraged, urban surplus and locally grown food)
£100 & over a permaculture design of your choice (land or person-centred)
£50 & over a personalized course of your choice (or you can choose to join other paid for courses (permaculture, foraging etc)
£20 & over - a screen-printed tee shirt!
£10 & over - a grafted fruit tree
£5 & over a potted plant
Under £5 - a variety of wildflower seeds
We will also be blogging from Barcelona to share the experience and I'm sure you will see big smiles and lots of enthusiasm!
