Atlas' medical fund

If you know me and my family, then you know that within our family is our dachshund family. We love our dachshunds and we will do whatever it takes to make sure they are okay. My name is Arlis Boyd and this is for a precious family member, Atlas. We've had Atlas since he was born, he'll be only three years old in March. I was at work last night when I got a phone call... Atlas, my younger brother's dachshund, had hurt his back. My mom thinks it was from him jumping off the sofa, but they aren't sure exactly what caused it. The vet said something is wrong with a disc in his spine and we won’t know which disc or how bad until he has x-rays done (getting that done today). He's lost control over his back legs and just drags them behind him when he tries to walk. Alec, my brother, said he cries not only from the pain but from frustration as well. That's very frustrating for a dog that just wants to run.
I know there never is a good time for anything like this to happen, but financially this is not a good time for all of this. Atlas is going into surgery today, 11/30/15, and any donations to pay for his medical bills would be greatly appreciated. All money raised is going to go to Atlas' surgery. If there is any money left after the medical bills are paid for, the remaining money will go to any pain medication he needs and getting a better dog ramp to keep him from trying to jump off the sofa.
My parents have taken out a loan for the surgery and it will have to be paid back with interest. I'm hoping to get donations as quickly as possible so they don't have to worry about the interest getting very high.
If I can pull this off and raise the total, it would not only mean the world to me, but my parents and brothers, as well as Atlas' grandpa (Zeus), mom and dad (Ruby and Titan), his brothers and sisters (Tiny Girl, Chi, Moby, Oswald, LouLou, Baxter), and his beautiful little puppies (Kona, Remy, Little Bit, and Abigail).
