Trevor's Situation
Our dear friend Trevor, only 43 years old, was diagnosed early this year (2016), with an especially aggressive form of stomach cancer.  At the time he was diagnosed it was already at stage 4.  He has been undergoing intensive treatment with chemotherapy at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA since mid-January in hopes of shrinking the tumor enough to remove it surgically.  He is now struggling with complications from the treatment as well as from the cancer itself.  His digestive system has become blocked by tumors and he can no longer eat or digest real food. He is now being fed a form of liquid nutrition intravenously, and he has a couple of different drains installed. Trevor is on continuous morphine delivery and has an additional morphine pump to help control his severe, chronic pain.
