Currently, all animals that were at the polo grounds have been moved to Earl Warren Showgrounds. Please direct additional donations to the Santa Barbara Equine Evacuation Team. They are running the operations at the Earl Warren Fairgrounds and have been amazing in continuing to help all the evacuated horses including the ones that were previously at the club.

The Polo Team at UCSB is raising funds to buy hay, supplies, and pay for transportation for the evacuee horses! All proceeds will go to the coordinators of the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet club for the sole purpose of maintaining the quality of life of our equine evacuees.
We couldn't be more grateful for our community coming together. Our large group of volunteers, have truly given back to our community of animal evacuees.
We've never seen such a wide array of animals here, it's been so fun!

* 4 Bunnies
* 4 Goats
* 9 Mules
* Donkeys
* Horses
* Cows
& Many More!
A big thank you everyone for continuing to give back. Truly heartwarming.
Sadly, a large number of these animals don't have homes to return to, after the Thomas Fire is gone. We are reaching out to support the owners of these beloved animals for the simple need of food, shavings, veterinary care through the upcoming weeks and possibly months as our community recovers.
Anything you can give will help these animals servive and be cared for through these challenging times.

About Leesan Kwok:
Leesan is a Linguistics major at UC Santa Barbara. She started the Polo and Equestrian Teams at UCSB this year. She is the pony club instructor at the Polo Academy at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club. Donated funds will go through her to the evacuation relief efforts. The spending and allocation of funds will be determined by the staff at the Polo Club, and not Leesan.
