Hello everyone,
As many of you may know, I applied to do the 7 weeks student exchange program this summer in Korea. During this time I will have the opportunity to teach, explore and to learn more about a culture that I lack knowledge in. I am very excited to experience something so different from what I am used to because I feel that this will allow me to continue to grow as someone who is open minded and a future teacher who will have a great understanding of diversity and how this looks like in the classroom setting. Being someone who love the idea of learning more and seeing things from a whole new lens I believe that this will be a great opportunity for me.
I just found out that since the courses that I will being taking through the Univeristy in Korea are not going to be transfered to Medicine Hat College I do not qualify to apply for student loans through AB. I do not want to miss out on such a great opportunity, so I could use all the help that I can get.
