He continues to give of his heart

Gary has cardio myopothy, and needs a new heart. Thirteen months ago Gary was released from Massachusetts General Hospital following a nine week stay. During the time he stayed in the hospital he received emergency surgery to put in a left ventricle assist pump after some complications he also received a right ventricle assist pump of which was taken out about six weeks later. Like others afflicted with heart disease, Gary is currently awaiting a heart transplant. There is no say when he will receive a transplant, but when he does it will bring upon new financial struggles and challenges. This man who has rebuilt houses from NY to Biloxi Mississippi, needs our help.
Although he will always be the last to admit it, he has blessed many familys not only by rebuilding homes destroyed by natural disasters but also by sharing Gods love with them. Following medical retirement Gary has never stopped working for God he dedicated years to Katrina relief in Biloxi Mississippi. Following his work in Biloxi, he returned to upstate NY and began David's Mighty Men, a ministry that helped meet the building and construction needs of the community. After Hurricane Irene hit Prattsville NY he felt the call to help those who lost their homes. Working one house at a time, with Huntersfield Christian Training Center and the help of his wife Jackie organizing he aided in the rebuilding of one of the most devestated towns in New York.
Although his desire is still to silently serve those in need with the gifts God has given him. God is currently calling him to heal and rest in preparation for his transplant.
Currently health insurance is one of the largest costs along with the cost of medications frequent travel to Massachussetts General Hospital and just day to day life.
Anyone who feels called to help Gary financially with the current medical expenses along with future medical expenses would be a true blessing to him. Every little bit will help! Together we can prepare him to go next time God calls.
