Have to get from Illinois to Arizona

My Mom has passed away and I have inherited the old dog and cat she had. I was in Illinois to help my parents but that unfortunately is no longer needed.
   Trying to get back to Arizona and hope to just get a roof over our heads as I have a job waiting on me to arrive but have fallen short on funds to get there after being laid off from my job.
   Any help is appreciated as I am planning on leaving on or around 03/23/2019 with whatever I have to get started down the road. Having the dog and cat would be difficult if having to stay in my truck as I get settled and back to work.
   There was no Insurance with Mom passing so expenses were there to be taken care of..
