On Dec.29,2017 I lost my big brother. My parents lost another son. My nephews lost their dad and my daughters lost their uncle.
My brother was only 45 years old. He has been battling congestive heart failure since his early 30s.
He had a pacemaker, defibrillator, picc lines, and an LVAD just to name a few. He had multiple open heart surgeries. All this trauma at such a young age. Months of hospitalizations. But through it all he still tried to live a normal life. Any time he felt well enough to go on his bike, he did. Nothing could stop him from taking his motorcycle out. He just loved to ride! In early November Chris was admitted to the hospital. He missed Thanksgiving and Christmas with his family. He was placed at the top of the heart donation list. Unfortunately he lost his fight before he received one.
We are not ones to ask for help but because this was not expected, we are trying to raise money so Chris can rest at peace and his young boys dont have to worry about any finances. Any money that exceeds the funeral costs will be donated to a Heart Organization in Chris's honor.
