HAVA Thrift Store StartUp

HAVA - the Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals - is taking a huge step, and is asking for your help. We all know that running a no-kill shelter for cats, and in addition cultivating a network of foster homes for both dogs and special-needs cats, is work that goes on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In order to succeed HAVA needs a steady and reliable income to pay the shelter expenses. Almost all of HAVA's income is from donations, but the amounts donated haven't been quite enough to cover expenses. In order to meet the ongoing financial needs of the shelter and supplement the amount raised through year-round donations, HAVA has decided to open a thrift store at 900 W. Robert Bush Drive in South Bend, Washington, right on Highway 101 and just down the hill from the County Courthouse.

What HAVA needs most at this time is help with equipping and furnishing the store. Your contributions to this fundraiser will allow HAVA to purchase and install shelving, display cases, clothes racks, shoe racks, jewelry display racks, tables, chairs, hangers, mirrors, dressing room fixtures, and all the rest of the items, small and large, that will transform a roomful of donations into a tempting array of purchases in an inviting and well-organized store. 

Can you help? We have ambitiously set the goal for this fundraiser at $15,000, and every single dollar that you contribute will get us closer to that goal.
