We are a group of kids in Hastings on Hudson, NY with a love of skateboarding and are working to build a local skatepark in our community for generations to come!
Based on our statistics, there are 260 kids in our immediate 2-square mile town who would actively use this skatepark. Including surrounding towns that have either extremely low quality or no skate park, this park could attract even more.
The skatepark project is currently in the initial stages of planning, after many conversations with the Village and the School Board, we have received their attention and support. The next step for us is to prepare a design of the skatepark that can be presented, discussed and approved. This will require money.
With the help of this website, we intend to fundraise the money needed to prepare a design for the park and to assist with its construction. The Village has also earmarked a portion of money to support the project. Our goal is to raise $53,000 with your contributions, which will help to satisfy our financial commitment to the project.
