Since 1972, the Ann Arbor Hash Bash has been a true "folk festival".  It was put on without corporate sponsorship and continues to this day to exist without  sponsorship. With hard work and limitless love from a caring community, Hash Bash has not only managed to sustain itself over the years but has grown each year in size and reputation.

In order to make sure that Hash Bash can continue to thrive, grow, and entertain without corporate sponsorship, we are asking that cannabis enthusiasts and Hash Bash attendees contribute directly to the official event.

The world of cannabis is changing before our eyes. 
Hash Bash will always be free to enjoy for you and thousands of other passionate activists and enthusiasts.

-Sound System to ensure high-fidelity sound at the maximum volume.
-Trash Removal to keep the beautiful University of Michigan campus clean.
-Entertainment including musicians and art installations to make Hash Bash a more immersive experience.
