Harlow Kidney Transplant Fund

Jeff Harlow was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2013.  His condition has deteriorated from that time and Jeff is now in need of a kidney transplant.  Praise God! Jeff's wife Lori has been approved to be a donor.  Lori and Jeff are scheduled for transplant surgery in early June of this year (2018).  We are so grateful for the wonderful care and treatment that Jeff has received from his various doctors, especially the team at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR, where the transplant will be performed.

While Jeff has insurance, the cost of the transplant and of the anti-rejection drugs (which he will need to take for the rest of his life) will still cost several thousand dollars per year beyond what we expect the insurance to cover.  

Currently, Jeff is hoping to begin working part time within a few months of the surgery but over the summer both Lori and Jeff will be quite limited in our ability to earn income.  The funds raised by this campaign will help enable us to recoup lost income, to pay hospital bills, and to defray the costs of the very expensive prescription drugs Jeff will be prescribed following the transplant.
