As some of you will know, around 1 month ago Harley was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer. Over the course of the last 4 weeks, it has been incredibly tough on himself and his (newly engaged) fiancée Vanessa (Ness), not to mention their beautiful daughter Lyanna.
He has been given 4 different treatments of Chemotherapy at once due to the aggressiveness of the cancer, which has obviously taken a toll on his body. At this point he has had one session of Chemotherapy and is currently recovering until he is well enough to start treatment again.
Over the past 48 hours, things have escalated pretty fast. He was taken in to hospital with Sepsis over the weekend - at which point they quickly realised that one of his lungs was completely full of fluid (around 5 Litres). After nearly losing him, his lung has been drained and he is on the road to recovery - as previously stated, ideally to a point where he can have his second bout of Chemotherapy.
After some confusion with test results, his Oncologist has basically given us a timeline. With Stage 4 cancer being so severe (and it having spread to an awkward location in the abdomen that is not easily treated/removed, and his lung), he's been told that it's terminal.
This GoFundMe is for all of Harley's family and friends to come together and support himself, Ness, and Lyanna during this incredibly tough time and help him to do anything that he wants to do in the time that he has been given.
As you all know, Harley has a heart of gold; he hates to impose on people and barely ever asks for help. I'm sure anyone reading this can recant a time that Harley has been there for them as a friend. Please donate what you feel appropriate, any amount is both welcomed and appreciated.
Depending on how much time we do get with him, any remaining funds left over from this campaign will be put towards funeral costs.
